Darek Błaszczyk (cókierek)

Video performer, director, sciptwriter, VJ Graduated in the faculty of the History of Art (Uniwersity of Warsaw), alumnus of the Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing. Co-founder of the creative group FABRYKA CÓKIERKÓW (1994-2002 - with Zbyszek Olkiewicz).

Author of a number of multimedia artistic projects (‘KABBALAH WALLS’, VIDEOMEDITATIONS’, ‘WITRAŻE’, CINEMAGICA’) 2005-6 Co-author (with Kinga Kiełczyńska) of TV-broadcasts ‘S-FORMA’ for TVPKULTURA

He made his debut in 2004 by a independent short film ‘TYLKO JEDNA NOC’ ('Just one night') which was rewarded on a couple of off-film festivals (co-produced by ZAiR)

 

Author of the fallowing screenplays: ‘DOM WESOŁEJ STAROŚCI’ - 'The House of Merry Retirement' (with Piotr Mańk/honorable mention in K.Kieślowski European Script competition in Cannes), ‘NIECH ŻYJE POGRZEB!!!’ - 'Long live the funeral!!' (with Paweł Składanek) and ‘ŻOŁNIERZYK’ - 'The toy soldier'.
